RECORDED SINCE THE LATE 80’S WITH PRODUCER/ARRANGER LEE CURRERI. RECORDED TRUMPET SOLOS FOR ROBERT DOWNEY JR., ALEX LIGERTWOOD LEAD VOCALIST FOR SANTANA, AND MANY OTHER MAJOR RECORDING ARTISTS. LEE WAS THE KEYBOARDIST AND CREATOR OF THE CHARACTER “BRUNO”, IN THE HIT MOVIE AND T.V. SERIES “FAME”.

“TOMMY MAC”, WAS BORN AND RAISED IN A CITY WITH A RICH HISTORICAL LEGACY IN JAZZ, KANSAS CITY MISSOURI. EDUCATED IN COMPOSITION AND ORCHESTRATION AT CENTRAL MISSOURI STATE, CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI AT K.C., AND COLLEGE OF SAN MATEO, SAN MATEO, CA.

STARTING AT THE EARLY AGE OF 10 YEARS OLD, HE RECEIVED NUMEROUS AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCES. HIGHLIGHTED BY JAZZ LEGENDS COUNT BASIE AND STAN KENTON IN HIGH SCHOOL.

THROUGHOUT THE EARLY 70’S AND MID 80’S HE TOURED OR PERFORMED LIVE IN CONCERT WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE METIONED GROUPS ONLY TO MOVE TO LOS ANGELES IN 1987 TO FURTHER ESTABLISH HIS SONGWRITING AND RECORDING CAREER.

1994 BROUGHT HIM TO LAS VEGAS, NV WERE HE GAVE MEMORABLE PERFORMANCES AT ALL OF THE MAJOR PROPERTIES AND MUSIC VENUES ON AND OFF THE STRIP. TOMMY MAC WAS HONORED TO BE THE LAST PERFORMER ON STAGE OPPOSITE THE GREAT “ KEELEY SMITH “ IN THE LEGENDARY STAR-LIGHTER ROOM OF THE FAMED DESERT INN, WHERE THE WYNN HOTEL RESIDES NOW

IN 2005 TOMMY MAC STARTED THE ARDUOUS TASK OF DEVELOPING HIS ONE MAN SHOW.   HIS DJ PERSONA aka: TOMMY MAC “MACHINE”, IS DEFINED WITH A LIVE BAND EDGE AND PRESENCE PERFORMING WITH THE TRACKS WHILE ENGAGING HIS AUDIENCE WITH AN ENTERTAINING PARTY ATMOSPHERE FOCUSED ON DANCE AND A LISTENING EXPERIENCE.
